What is Dated?
Dated is a private AI-powered journal for your love life. Write about dates, feelings, and frustrations, and the AI reads across every entry to surface the recurring patterns you can't see from inside them.
Is my data private?
Your journal is. All entries are stored on your device and optionally backed up to your personal iCloud account — there are no social features and nobody sees your entries but you. If you sign up through our website, we do collect your email address to link your subscription and onboarding answers into the app, and, like most websites, we use cookies and advertising-measurement technologies (including the Meta pixel) to understand how our site and ads perform. That website advertising activity never touches your journal. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Do you use cookies or advertising trackers?
On our website, yes. When you visit datedapp.com we use cookies and the Meta pixel to measure how our site and advertising perform, which applies to all visitors even if you never give us your email. The app itself does not run the Meta pixel and never sends your journal content to advertisers. To opt out, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer, use a browser that sends the Global Privacy Control signal (honored automatically), decline or clear non-essential cookies in your browser, or email us at support@datedapp.com. Downloading the app directly from the App Store, without using our website, involves no advertising sharing at all.
How does the AI work?
After a few entries, Dated starts connecting dots between dates — same red flags, same triggers, same type showing up again. Insights are always grounded in words you already wrote.
What's free and what's paid?
Writing is free: unlimited text and voice entries, all entry types, person tagging, and your timeline. A premium subscription unlocks the AI — your Dating Blueprint, cross-entry pattern insights, weekly summaries, and more.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Find Dated and tap Cancel Subscription.
